Lynmouth - where Exmoor meets the sea in dramatic style. This is a great place to visit all year if you want to park up the car and do some energetic walking.
The area offers a range of excellent walks over Exmoor, along the Coast, in deep wooded Cleaves, the famous river walk to Watersmeet and 'The Valley of Rocks' - make sure to bring your camera!
In the summer it's great to visit the Sandpiper Inn early evening, then descend over Countisbury Hill back into Lynmouth for last orders in the Harbour.
There is a Thai Restaurant in the sister town of Lynton, connected by a railway that climbs the side of the hill and, a lively evening can be had at the Crown Inn on a Friday Night.
We have recently placed a 360 degree image on our web site detailing The Valley of Rocks. Submitted by David Sim http://www.sphereworks.co.uk
