It's overcrowded, congested, has poor facilities, has been very unsympathetically developed over the years and has lost most of it's charm. The new "World Class Stratford" initiative will probably manage to get rid of what remains.

| Stratford upon Avon is a beautiful town full of history. Take the award winning daily guided walk. Walk in William Shakespeare's footsteps and see the timber framed buildings, Shakespeare Town House, Grammar School, Royal Shakespeare Theatres, Holy Trinity Church. Enjoy a gentle cruise on the picturesque River Avon and then later relax in an award winning tearoom or restaurant. There are plenty of attractions to visit and you can end with a little shopping in the good selection of chain shops, or unique shops spread throughout the town. A magical place where the sun always shines!
